Bosch Sensortec BMI423 is an always-on, low-power 6-axis IMU for wearables, hearables, and robotics. Its 24-bit accelerometer and gyroscope support extended motion ranges, voice-activity detection, activity and step recognition, tap detection, wrist-wear wake-up, and wrist gestures.

Official BMI423 technical data: accelerometer offset ±35 mg and gyroscope offset ±0.6 °/s; temperature drift ±0.25 mg/K and ±0.007 °/s/K; sensitivity error 0.25% (accelerometer) and 0.4% (gyroscope); typical noise density 90 µg/√Hz (accelerometer, ≤8 g), 120 µg/√Hz (≥16 g), and 0.005 °/s/√Hz (gyroscope). Current consumption: 575 µA high-performance, 315 µA low-power, 14 µA suspend (A+G). Includes 4 KB FIFO and high-performance, normal, low-power, and suspend modes.
