企业简介
Bordeaux-based open-source robotics startup acquired by Hugging Face in April 2025, making Reachy 2 the reference hardware platform for the LeRobot AI library. Founded by Inria researchers who created the Poppy open-source humanoid, Pollen built the first fully open-source humanoid designed for AI data collection via VR teleoperation. Uses Maxon brushless motors with custom Orbita parallel-mechanism actuators. The mobile base (omniwheels, not legs) limits its classification as a traditional bipedal humanoid, but its open-source stack and Hugging Face integration make it a uniquely important research platform.
